On my old windshield of my 55 TF. I've posted this a while back to see if anyone recognized it. I've had many suggestions, but no conformations. I've contacted St. Jude Hospital, as lots of folks think it might be from there, but no one there ever seen it before. Remembering this was put on many years ago, it'll be a miracle if it's birth place comes to light. We believe it's a parking permit because of the assigned number. If the glass cleans up and I can get a clue to it's origin, I'm going to put it back in the frame instead of a new glass. It might bring up the name of a previous owner also. PJ

What state(s) was the car previously registered in?

Sure looks like a parking permit to me too. Could be Saint Joseph's Hospital in Chicago...?

Steve, were not sure where the car originated here in the states, but believe it started out in California. It sat in a barn for near 20 years, but I don't know where the barn was. I bought it from a fellow in Northern Alabama and he bought it from a fella in Birmingham Alabama, which I think pulled it out of the barn. It's all a guess right now, but I'm still hopeful of receiving some old repair paperwork on it that a fellow I know has.

Here's what it looked like when I bought it. PJ

I'm thinking it's a school parking permit: Something like "Samuel Jackson High"

I emailed a previous owner who has old paperwork on the car that could lead to owners who had the car when new. I've been trying to get these papers for 5 years now. He's promised to get them to me numerous times, but constantly puts it off. I don't understand some people, I would never do that to someone. PJ

Paul - I posted this suggestion long ago when you first showed the sticker.

To me it sure looks like it's TJSH - not JSH. So something like Thomas Jefferson State Hospital?

TJSH is (was?) near Jefferson City, Missouri.

Tom

I think you're on to something, there, Tom...
