WHen ever the usual doesn't work, my next step is to try heating it with my paint stripper gun to see if that loosens it. After that it's PB Blaster! To the rescue...and a day or two on the bench for it to soak in.

Did you try a very thin bladed knife? Poke it in a short ways from opposite sides, easy does it. Maybe an exacto knife.
