I was searching for some info tonight and ran across my first post on the old Triumph BBS (Posted 11 June 2001 at 02:02:08 UK time).

Well guess who responded...................times up!

Don Elliott of course….. it was about steering R&P or rebuild, I just wanted to say thanks to a lot of great people and please have an absolutely wounderful new year!

Gads, Russ that was before I even knew about forums. I had just barely learned how to use eBay! Gosh how this forum has changed and grown. It has been a god send to me. When I finally got started, seriously, on my car it was in pieces and not all of them taken off by me. The PO had started on it and I bought it as a basket case, and then my step son "helped" disassemble it. First thing I had to do was catalog and bag all of the parts.

I certainly echo your "thanks to a bunch of great people"!

Regards, to all, Tinkerman
