Old Paint/New Paint

[ QUOTE ]
What model Healey is it?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's one of the 100-6 models (I would prefer it to be a Hundred but it's the 'time capsule' condition that is notable). I have met Georges Keen at a few events .. Nice guy and the car has a very nice patina and history.

Funny you mention the Healey Association trip up to Lone Pine. I was riding in a bicycle charity event from Big Bear to Mammoth and saw the Barrons and Camitos in Lone Pine. Stopped and talked to them for a few minutes before they headed off to see the Bristle Pines. Small world.

Cheers,
John

Hi John,
I just got my map out and took a look - Big Bear to Mammoth on a bicycle /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif - I'm impressed!

Hi PC,
Thanks for all the info - I'm going to print it out and study it! Good advice, too. I'll get all the particulars on the paint job and WRITE IT DOWN! Maybe you can give me some good cleaning and polishing techniques on the next BCF So Cal ride that Henri organizes (hint, hint)!
