Cleaning out the basement. I have an old, mid 80's I guess, Michelin Redline in almost perfect shape, the tire still has the nubs and flash from the mold. It was the spare on my car when I bought it and appears to be hardly if ever used. My car had sat for a long time before I bought it and I replaced all the tires immediately.

This tire is for show only as I am sure it is unsafe to drive on...but it looks great and I just cannot bear to throw it away, however if no one wants it, my 3 year old will get a cool vintage tire swing.

Tire is in Hopkinton, MA. pipermeister@yahoo.com

I would suggest the tire swing. It would be the only redline one on the block. It could otherwise end up as a spare tire that someday might be used on the road out of necessity.

Do NOT give that tire away - you open yourself up to
all kinds of liability.Make it a tire swing.
As Doc would say "Life Is Just a Tire Swing"

What am I starting? He said he was sure the tire was no good for the road. I suggested he make it a tire swing. Doing otherwise could result in the tire being used as a spare and end up being used on the road.

Doug, I meant the other Doug. Don't get Doc started on song verses.
