So, I should look in the bins other than metric. I bet Home Depot might be good then.

This darn place where I live does not have much of anything for vehicles. Lots of house stuff. It is too darn upscale for the good stuff, but the wife likes it.
 
Home depot is generally over priced and poor quality when it comes to the type of hardware you're looking for. I also go to an old independent hardware store that sells good stuff and NEVER raises their prices. For example: I bought 50 1/4" fine stainless steel bolts one inch in length. They were 1/3 of the price as the course thread. When I asked why... he said that they were bought 10 yrs ago, and they set the price when they are stocked. So... since they hadn't needed to stock anymore in those 10 yrs the price had not gone up. I bought alot of hardware that day by looking for dusty boxes!
 
Gesh, heck we lucky to have ACE here and Lowes and Home Depot 30 min away.

Is no such as old place, good reason to get my list together and take a day trip up into Alabama I guess.
