Folks around here may be interested in this or know somebody who might be. I need to sell off some old radio gear. I have a Navy RAL 7 TRF receiver (what is often referred to as a boat anchor as it weights in at over 70 lb.) and a Harvey Wells TBS 50 transmitter. They both worked the last time I turned them on some 50 years ago. Neither have any rust or corrosion, never stored in a barn. I can send pictures.

No more boat-anchors for me. Sold my last one (AR-88, receiver) in the 1970s. Perhaps there are collector sites that would be interested.

Ha! My cousin, AA2PJ, used to have a Viking Transmitter and a Hammerland receiver. Both were all of 70 pounds. We had to wait about a half hour for them to warm up and stabilize. We used one of those old plastic strip letter punch labelers to dub them "Transmitasauras Rex", and "Receivasauras". Fun times.

Hallicrafters SX-99 receiver is all i've left here. And a 24"x24"x36" box FULL of assorted vacuum tubes.

I'm down to a 1980 Kenwood transceiver (200 watt mobile). Hardly used in the last 15 years (on HF).
