Old English White

Has anyone found a color similar enough to Old English White (OEW) in the rack of touch-up paints that you typically find in the neighbourhood auto-accessory shop in the US?

There are several versions of white available, but without buying about half a dozen I can't be sure what would be closest to OEW.

While thinking about it, does anyone know what the RGB value approximates to OEW?

I think that Chrysler's Stone White would be pretty close to OEW. Volkswagen also have a new creamy-white colour for their '07 range which might be worth looking at, but I would say that the Chrysler shade is more likely to be in the auto-parts store's rack....

You all know Old english white is not white. Is is the most beautiful cream you have ever seen.

Here ya go

Great shot Jack! Personally, I don't think OEW really shows it's true color on a computer screen. Much nicer in person.

Another source for a touch up color would be the New Mini "pepper white".

No does not show on computer. It is a very light cream that you can fall into. More like rich ice cream than anything else.

Heh, I'll show you next summer at the Lake.

I think that's Jack's wife finally revealing why she has been so supportive of the project /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif
