Hi, my name is Rex and my wife Cathy and I live in Eastern Oregon. Been fiddling with cars 50+ years. Sold my Magenta TR6 I restored, 2 years ago. I lost my good Brit car friend, Chris Roop in 2019 to cancer and thought I was done with 'foreign' cars. But his son wanted me to have his old TR6, so I'm back in. Thank you for letting me join the forum.

Great to have you with us! bittersweet reason to get back into foreign cars but it sounds like it is in the right hands

Hello Rex

Welcome to the forum.

The Triumph section is very active so you will get plenty of tips and advice for your TR6 there.

David.

Thank you for the welcomes, I appreciate it. I enjoy driving much more than wrenching/painting these days but of course these LBC's require occasional repair. Looking forward to enjoying the posts. Here is a pic of my restored magenta and Chris's (now ours) emerald, taken on about our last drive together for a Taco Tuesday run in the Blue Mountains.

welcome - looks like a lovely run! great looking cars in groovy colours!

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend, Chris. Glad his TR will live on in good hands. Welcome aboard!

Thank you! We are going to be moving to E. Tennessee/Knoxville, in the future, figured this would be a good way to meet some of the folks back that way when we do. I like LBC groups, having had 6's, Alpines, Spitfires, B's and C's, even a 63 e-type many years back. Many American cars from the 50-70's. I'm definitely not a manufacturer purist!:giggle:
