Can anyone identify the make and model of this auto?

That's my mother, Mary Betty Parker, on the running board. She was born in '15. Next to her is my Great-Grandmother and next is my Grandmother.

My brother thinks it's a Buick. May be in Fairmont.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't know what car it is, but I can tell you it is a GREAT photo!

Thanks, Elliot!

I like it, too.

About a 1915-1923 Buick.

Note the rectangular radiator badge.
Note the fender design.
Note the windscreen design.
Not the wheel (demountable rim) design.
Note the front bumper.

Initially I thought teens, as Buick seemed to have gone to bright radiator shells by 1920, but I found a 1923 with black shell.
She's what, 7 or 8 in the photo, born in 1915, so 22 or 23 is about right for a new car.

Yes, I can see the similarities that you point out.

We'll go with '22 or '23 Buick.

Thanks!

By the way, Us West Virginians say "model" instead of "year".

You can take the boy out of West Virginia, but you can't take the West Virginia out of the boy.

My brother states that the photo was taken in '23.

Good eye, TOC!
