Kingfisher Oklahoma earthquakes

2017 + January & February 2018

2 earthquakes in past 24 hrs

7 earthquakes in past 7 days

27 earthquakes in past 30 days

403 earthquakes in past 365 days

Largest quake in Kingfisher
Today Monday February 5 2018 (3.7) in Hennessey, Ok
2017: (4.3) in Medford, Ok

Kingfisher and Medford are both too far away for Paul to have felt one. Most of the earthquakes we have been having are small though on occasion we do get some that cause property damage. I think the worst one for that was in or around Shawnee a couple of years ago. Where I live we have had two that you could feel though we weren't aware at the time that they were earthquakes; I live pretty close to Ft. Sill, which is the world's largest artillery base and often will rattle windows and the like, so we just thought it was Sill.

Geez Paul, What the Frackin is going on?

I know that Randall, but the joke don't work with that!

"Wow! Even the jokes about Oklahoma are flat. :thirsty:"

You must have us confused with Kansas and Nebraska.

To paraphrase Don, "The joke don't work with hills in it" ...I'll be darned! Obviously I don't get over the Sierras much. I thought Oklahoma was just dust swept empty flats punctuated by fences and oil wells, populated by singing and dancing farmers. Then again I could never find New England on any map of the states, and was surprised to learn that Rhode Island is not really an island!
