Hey Doc, the sun is shining here and it is headed for 70 degrees today...for us that is fantastic wont be too many folks indoors around here today. I think today i will do the rear wheel bearings on the 122, that i started last fall, and has been just sitting there crippled since.

Wannabe...

Been a busy coupla days up here. Been looking at another house, since we have to move in mid-June. It needs work. Lots of work.

With that, the missus's b'day this w/e and everything else that's going on here, I haven't even had chance to put the crank trigger on the TR.

At least the weather is nice. Now if I can just find a cheap (but good) plumber...

I'm here. Just got back from a nice long drive. Man that was nice.

You gonna jump into that one? Izzat why ya need the plumber?

...I'm just gettin' excited here: I know this has been playing on you for a while now. A house needing work can be a good thing, moneywise.

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif Had a little lunch, caught up, and heading back out. Top down 73 F - drive all day with out overheating weather! Yahoooooooo!

Plus the local sports car club garage tour to kick off driving season...

(quick, uneditted photos in this batch)

That's an Opel GT on the rotisserie, and the red hood of an Opel 1900 station wagon

A GM factory, very high-performance crate engine, say about 800 HP! Plus a TR6 in the background

And there was still snow on the ground! The only sports car I saw on the road all the day...

25-year-old Mini pickup shell, never been assembled! A local guy just recently drove all the way to Chicago to purchase it

BEEEE-U-TEE-FULL weather here today. Took the top right off the surroget LBC (the CJ5) and took a few drives. went and bought grass seed, 'cause our lawn's lookin too close to Docs.
Been outside all day. got in a little work on the TR2. I'm currently pondering what kind of setup I can make to pound the right front fender back into shape. that's whats really holding me up. I need to get all the panal fits right, then I can take the car apart and start cleaning, painting, and rebuilding.

First day of the on track portion of drivers school for me. Spent all day watching newbies lose wheels, roll over, and hit the wall. Three separate incidents.
More fun and games tomorrow.
Jeff

Let's see...started early having tires put on the 1980 Z, then tilled the garden spot, planted 80 tomatoes, 2 rows of Bush BLue lake green beans, 2 rows of crowders, 2 rows of purple hulls, squash and peppers. Finished with dinner at mom's (black-eyed peas w/ pepper jelly, turnip/mustard greens, skillet squash cooked w/butter and onions and meatloaf!) Now a beer on the couch and home shows to recover.
Tomorrow...finish the fence, work in the garage, plant the okra and zinnias...a few more weekends like this and it makes the work week seem like a rest stop between weekends.
