Okay!! Joke's OVER!!!

Brrrrr! No joke Doc. This cold is too for-real and needs to end! (currently 46* here and dropping!!) :eeek:

I just got done cleaning about 12-14" of that darned global warming off of my cars and sidewalks again. The east coast is under a blanket of it.

Where's Al??

The weather. The only things that we can do about it is either complain or enjoy it.

I went out to the suburbs to visit the folks this weekend-sunny but quite cold both days-mid twenties. Nice and sunny yesterday as well-did a small amount of photography.

Took the train back into the city. A good fifteen degrees warmer up here on the lakefront....and snowing.

It's so cold here that the left front strut on my BMW froze solid overnight.
I though I had a broken spring. the whole nose of the car was right on the ground. rode like a lumberwagon. I had to bring it in the shop and let it thaw out after work. even on the lift the wheel was tucked right up in the wheel well. I watched it slowly decend as I warmed the strut with a heat gun.
I was upset because of the problem with my car, but it was really hysterical to see.
Last week it was in the 50s and rained like crazy. My theory is that that is when the water got into the horribly worn out struts I've been babying till I could afford the new ones. guess I gotta afford 'em now.

Bad seals, water and that procrastination thingie.

"Perfect Storm" stuff, Ben.
