OK, Why Is This Changing Color

I finally got back on the forum, having log in problems. So, I chose the default style, light blue for color and when I go from one page to the next, it changes the color back to medium blue. When you choose a color or style of page, is there a save button? I haven't found one. PJ

Scroll down to the bottom of the settings and there is a "save changes" button

Did that Elliot. For some reason, the color keeps going back to medium Blue! Not that it's a bad color, but I have no control over it and that's not good. It seems that it only does it in Fire Fox, no other browser! Cleaned out my cookies, ran a full virus scan, (none), scanned the registry, fixed errors, but still the same results. This is the Fire Fox upgrade, maybe I should revert to an earlier, my old, FF browser. ?? PJ

Just downloaded Fire Fox 24, supposedly set up for windows 8, installed it, NO CHANGE!! Still won't keep my BCF settings! I might opt for another browser and give it a try. My old Flock browser, what I'm on now, works perfectly, but it's no longer supported and I need a back up browser in case it gets non usable. PJ

I just downloaded FF 24 on my Windows Side of the iMac (Win 7). Going to play around with it to see if I'm seeing any of same issues. I'm using it now in fact.

Paul, are you choosing your color style from "settings" and saving the choice or are you simply choosing the style from the drop-down at the bottom-left of the forum page?

I was afraid to look at this thread, thought it was going to be medical in nature.

I've tried both ways. When I make the change, it immediately goes to the color of choice, but as soon as I change pages, it goes back to medium Blue and stays there. I've had this issue on a couple of Pro-Board sites that I use for farm equipment discussions, but Pro-Boards has made a bunch of changes lately for security reasons and using their sites now is a new learning experience for sure. Issue resolved! Please don't ask me what I did, as I haven't a clue! But I think the FF 24 upgrade might have been the solution. Possibly the older version of FF had a corrupted file, but that's just a guess, don't even know if that's possible. But, anyway it's fixed and working properly. :winner1: PJ

Glad to hear you got it resolved even if you don't have a clue how

You've said a mouthful there boss! Kind of describes the entire hobby and most of my life!
