Ok, so what is this orange hose?

Been trying to figure this out for a little while now, but can't be 100% sure of what this is. What I know is that it's an orange hose that comes off the intake manifold and proceeds through the firewall and into the car. From there it goes behind the dash and ends just right of the shifter. The only thing I can think is that maybe it went to a mechanical manifold pressure gauge of some sort? My buddy likes to kid around that it was for nitrous oxide injection.

most likely a vacuum gauge.
 
Yes, likely vacuum... that or some sort of way you so suck vaporized gasoline to get high. :yesnod:
 
Thanks guys! I figured it was something like that. Couldn't find anything like it in my books, just wanted to make sure it wasn't something important.
 
Well you have the hookup---might as well put in nitrous!!

I thought it was so you could suck up some GM Topend cleaner and degunk the tops of the pistons and rings while you were driving?

Why would you arrange to keep a nasty bit of solvent like that in the passenger compartment? Seems most reasonable to assume the hose was connected to a vacuum or "economizer" gauge.
 
Tom, I was joking... Much like everyone knows a Hyperdrive would be too big to fit into a passenger compartment.. :smile:
 
manifold gauge does seem most logical. also could be routed to valve cover to help draw oiled air to be cremated.

Definitely it would have to go in the trunk. The anti matter cannons go in the passenger compartment.
 
I don't know which anti-matter cannons you are dealing with, but unless this is going to be a driverless vehicle, I think it would be limited to a single cannon. (Unless you are using those cheap, knock-off, mini cannons..)
 
Ok, I've looked through all my manuals and wiring diagrams and I'm stumped. Does Moss carry these antimatter cannons and hyperdrives? Anyone got a part number?

Typically you have to get them elsewhere. Anti Matter Cannons show up occasionally on Ebay but you can get them here as well.

In terms of a hyperdrive, like megasquirt you pretty much have to make your own (or get a kit)
