The rest of the country is just learning what it's like to live in Phoenix.

I remember years ago hearing a preacher talking about how hard it is to preach about heck in Arizona. He said for 1/3 of the year it's too nice for anyone to care and for 2/3 of the year it's too hot for anyone to be impressed.

That's not only accurate, but hysterical!

There's more brimstone going across the parking lot than can be delivered in most sermons.

Well, had a good soaking rain today (needed) Went out for dinner, ate on the patio, got home and went for a lovely drive! Was supposed to be a cruise night - there wasn't but just a gorgeous evening. Put the car away, got in the house turned off the AC and opened all the windows. Loving the breeze and it is supposed to get down into the 60's tonight, wonderful!

Don,

Once you settle in the Charleston, SC area 89.2 will be considered a cool-down temperature. Your "Uncle" threshold will have to increase...

:iagree:

A bit further down, we're averaging low-to-mid 90s. That'll last into September. Our "upside" is we rarely see 100.

You guys forget one important item
I don't mind the temp out doors .It's the 90 degrees indoors that is a killer.
It is 7AM and still about 80 in my office.
We here in the NW don't have AC.
You think I got any sleep last night??

That 77.7 looks heavenly
I think it might be that now in my office
By the way,you need the batteries replaced Scott

What's the lift and duration on that Doug? :jester:

Way too long & high sometimes - now it's overcast
& drizzling.
One reason that I'll never own a Gray car.

Your 85 inside looked...lousy? I have a friend in Portland, ME that doesn't have AC except in her bedroom. They've had days in the 90s and apparently it's been miserable in the house.

I use lithium batteries, they seem to show low/empty for a long time before it dies. I'm getting to be like a guy waiting to see how long the gauge stays on "E" before the car dies

That wasn't even the hot part of the day and that was in the coolest room in the house

This is my temperature readout in the backseat of the airplane just before we landed after a 3.5 hour photo mission. The "outside" probe is in the camera bay with the doors shut and it heats up a little, so it wasn't true outside air temp.

I can't wait for fall!
