Anybody know someone who could use a hard top for a Datsun 1600 roadster? Just thought Id ask. Don't shoot me. :jester:

I have a friend with a 2000. Short or tall windshield?

Banjo, I've been told that it's for a short windshield. I know nothing about these cars, (Datsuns), so it's all news to me. I traded a few B parts for it thinking it was for a B, but after getting it home, I found out different. Here's a couple photos of it. The windows appear to be glass, not plastic. Wouldn't take much to make it look real nice. It does need new rubber seals though and look to be a standard type seal. PJ

Ya need a new pair o' shoes, Paul. :jester:

Yup, easy to make that mistake.
Since all MGB hardtops had portholes, I can see how easy that would be.

Heading for my foxhole, now.

Can ya dig a foxhole in a submarine?!?!?

wow... Who'd-a thunk it. :smirk:

Didn't say I wuz gonna DIG one....said I wuz HEADING for mine.

Right next to the port MSW valve in the LL of the Engine Room, under th' deck plates.

Nobody ever found ya there.

mehheh.... "WE GOT BILGE RATS!!! I FOUND TH' CRUMBS!!!"

ROFLMAO!!!:D

"shhh..... they're livin' inna keel. I kin HEAR 'em breathin."

Paul, I'll see if I can get a hold of my friend. I think his car is a later, tall windshield car. 67 or 68. its one of the 2000 solex cars. Fast as stink for a 2.0. Fun car. I'll let ya know as soon as I can, but don't hold yer breath.
I walked into a barn once where a guy had 6 of those cars in a corner. setting on wood beams, 3 on top, 3 underneath. Like a 6 pack of Japanese beer. surreal....

Those shoes keep me in the comfort zone Doc! I keep them in the shop! Reason being, if my wife found them, she'd throw them away. Women just don't understand about those things.
