Ok, it's not British, but I wouldn't mind one!!

Brings back the slot car memories. I had one - I think Cox made 'em - when the craze hit in the sixties. I rewired the armature, and couldn't keep it on the track!
 
You're right, it was made by Cox. Doesn't the thing look like a life-sized Hot Wheels especially in that green color and the rims?
 
It's strange,but I think that that color looks
good on that car.I've seen one in Red (not great,if
I remember),& it didn't do the car justice.

I had a 1/32 cheetah w/a pittman 196? and soldered brass frame. it was a clear plastic body painted brg inside. love the cars, dont like the color or hole in the hood.
 
I'm with Peter. It looks like a lifesize hot-wheels. Not sure If I'd wanna plunk down cash to have one, but I'd sure like to borrow it for a weekend or two.
I think it's pretty cool! It oughta be the Johnny Lightning staff car.
