Jim, thanks for putting up the site for your front suspension rebuild.

One question: why didn't you use an air ratchet to run up the long bolts when reassembling the pans/springs? That's how I did it, made pretty short work of that part. I put the bolts in from under with nuts above, then just zip zip zip with the air ratchet.
 
Honestly Rick...mental fatigue. I was dealing with a family medical emergency at the same time of the rebuild. I'd developed the pattern, and just stuck with it. You're right though. Your method would've made getting the springs back in a 5-7 minute job, and a lot easier.

Thanks Alan. I'm looking forward to getting it back on the road. Tonight's duty will be refitting and refilling the radiator. Then I'll turn the car around and start work on the rear suspension.
 
Jim, no problem, I've been there too many times myself.
Thanks again for putting this all up there, will make it easier for people doing the same work. Sometimes if you can just see a picture or two it all goes together a lot better.
