You'd have a laugh to see how redundant I can be when something like a V-12 Ferrari or Jag is the "patient". Dry erase AND a paper checklists. Progress marked by line thru of each "step". And photos... lots of photos. Mainly for if/when there are any questions or problems, there's a "Visual Evidence Trail" to refer to.
I've done enough of this work to be confident... until that 3AM: "Oh, man... can't remember that I torqued 'this-or-that' before I sealed the case?" All I gotta do is check "the list" to be sure. If nothing else it's a Peace-of-Mind crutch... Yeah, I know: "Gee, Dude, yer OLD!!!"
