I'm actually posting about the my TR6. I finally have done something that has held me back. I had the outlet made for the fuel tank to start the next finishing piece.
It's below

Now hopefully I can get the tank back in and run the fuel lines.

<span style="font-size: 23pt"><span style="font-weight: bold">Warning Bobby</span></span>, if you still post on this forum, I got lots of questions.

Oh, now your makin me embarrassed ,Ken!

I told him about Model "A" Fords, how when out on a date we could shut off the fuel with out foot, and suddenly we were stranded out in the wilderness......so he figgered he could shut the fuel off to his Tractor the same way.......

Looks like exactly the same ball valve I used as a water drain on my air compressor ... which failed to open just a few months after installing it. Turns out there is a relatively soft Teflon washer that is all that holds the stem down into the valve, so it stays engaged with the ball (which is a separate piece). Apparently that washer got damaged when the factory put mine together, and turning the valve with my toe eventually pulled the stem up enough to not engage.

But congrats on making progress

but never needed one in a car.
Perhaps you've never had a car with the fuel tank mounted up above the rear axle (and fuel pump) ?

Or above the speedometer?

Oh, Don has a TR6.

Looks like he's been trying to get fuel injection on it since they were chiselling injectors out of iron ore, going by the dust thickness.

Bobby will be in later or tomorrow. I had him out on a course that he never played before and he shot 79 like breaking sticks. Al and I didn't fare so well. Not only is he good at cars, he's good at golf.....
