are you ready for the final race?

WOTTA FINISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last turn of the last lap!!!! Glock fades and Hamilton is the CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He STOLE it from poor Massa!!!

I've never been through that kind of roller coaster before.

Still speechless.

Wow.

Wow.

Absolutely amazing...my heart is still pumping. That couldn't have been scripted better than that ending.

What a nail biter, had me on the edge of my chair, nearly spilled my coffee.

Great race, and a great F1 season. If you made a movie of this race and Lewis winning the championship, no one would have believed that it went down to the final turn in the final lap of the final race. Timo Glock rolled the dice and and stayed out on the dry tires. He almost pulled it off, but in the end it bit him and allowed Hamilton to move into the championship slot.

Massa was visibly shaken by the result. He had a fine season and did everything he had to do in this race in front of the home crowd. I feel bad for him, but I'm glad Lewis took the crown...British you know.

Yes that was one of the best that I have seen in a while.

Where Doc?

Probably still recovering from watching the race. I'm still in shock.

It's nice to know that Bernie and the Montreal officials were knee deep in talks this week. There's still hope.

I have a lot more respect for Massa after listening to him post-race. He was the only one on that podium that had the decency to congratulate Lewis. Lord knows Alonso and Raikkonen wouldn't have said it.

This was a great year, and with Alonso finishing the season so strong, next year should be even more intense.

esp if the engine changes go through

Really enjoyed that. The rain gave some great intrest.

Hamilton earned that title, the old fashioned way. Truly a great and talented driver.

He also made history, first black man to win an FI race and championship. That's big.

Let us hope he draws more people to the sport. F1 needs all the help it can get!

Really was a yawner in my book until; Hamilton got passed. What happened there?
Then Glock dropping back. Loved the look in the Ferrari pit when they realized they didn't win.

woof.

This place has finally cleared well enuff for me to find th' keyboard.

Heart rate back down to something almost normal, head wounds from the repeated impacts over the start of the last lap stopped bleeding... shaking finally subsided.

It was ~IMPOSSIBLE~ Lewis was gonna be in P5 at the end. "It's OVER!" says I. Turn'd away from th' tube disappointed, saddened for Lewis...

Horsemits starts SCREECHING. Jumpin' up and down, spinnin' in air and clappin' her hands like a six-year-old winnin' a pony inna garage. I look up to see Timo fallin' back...

"Impossible" has been scratched from my vocabulary for the time being.

A most well deserved congrats to Lewis, and to Mr. Massa.

I just watched the last 5 laps again, maybe for the 10th time in 24 hours, and it still gets me.

Can you see what exactly happen'd to Timo?

It *seems* the dry tires were his downfall, but...

I only have recollection of Herself actin' like a schoolgirl and seein' Lewis scoot past Glock's tub... :confuse:

He is literally out of view until that turn. The focus is on Massa crossing the line, then shifts to Vettel and Hamilton approaching the last couple of turns where there is a lot of water on the track.
If you can ignore the language, and before FIA remove the vid.... Here it is.

Wish I could have watched it!

Hamilton deserved this accolade.

It will be interesting so see if we even recognize Formula One racing in the future...how many teams will remain???....only one engine?!?!....etc, etc, etc...

Bernie needs to get a clue and stop watching the account balance of his checking account grow if he wants F1 to survive.

Neat.

Some of the OTHER vids there seem a bit... ummm... "anti" Lewis?

His skill is unassailable. Whatever the outcome of that race, he's put himself in the books. Too bad some of the folks who've villified him can't be stuffed into the cockpit of one of those things and made to go out and *try* to duplicate the lap times he turns in. Too expensive to waste those machines on the inevitable answer tho, I s'pose.

...and the morons would likely *not* be killed in the ensuing shunts anyway.

"JA, JA, JAMILTON!!!"
