I did the same thing Tony. I never put the two together until the last night at the bar. He had 3 great cars and I love the nose on the blue one. Had all the signatures and the cruise control to boot under that hood. There were so many people there and so many cars and I was having trouble putting real names to BCF user names. I was overwhelmed and it was great.

You guys, it was no secret that Frank is Spritenut. But now you know the rest of the story. Hehe.

I'm like Kim - just never put it together....another reason I think we should all have our real names in our signature!

Yeah, that is why I wanted the thread with the BCF members picture and pic of their car so I could sort them all out.

Who in the world could sort out that strange bunch of folks, including me.

If you weren't by your car you were just out of luck.

Hey, there was a red bugeye in front of me on the way to the airport for pics and the lady in it was taking pictures or videos of the cars behind her in the line of spridgets. I would love to have a picture or two of my car in motion on the highway with me and the wife in it. I don't know who that was but if any of you catch some pics of that somewhere, please direct me to them. It wasn't KC1275, it was another red one.

Mark Endicott?

John Kuzmann?

Well, John stops in here from time to time, and Mark can be found oveer on the Spridgets autox.team.net list.

If you have pics from loto send em to Jim so he can up load em to the site.

Great pics....wish I could have made the trip with the '59 Bugeye!! How was the weather? How many miles did you travel?
It was the best vacation of my life I think. It was friday evening and me and the wife went out to steak and shake and had a nice meal and a great vanilla shake and came back to the Hotel and I though "my god, look at all these little spridets, this is awesome".

Awsum is hardly the word for it.

I never saw anything like it before and never expect to again.

Not only that but there was not a bad apple in the bushel. Nice cars, nice folks.

I hope so, for the Midget 50!

There was this dodgy guy in a 'I am The Stig's Fat Cousin' T-shirt I had doubts about....

I had doubts about that guy too Barry. And he wasn't even fat!!! :jester:

The whole event was fantastic, and if the Midget 50th is as good it will be fantastic too.

Stuart.

The cars were the stars...but the people were also just terrific.

It totally lacked the clicks that you often find at larger events...the T guys that give you the eye if you sit down with them, the Jag guys on the hill sitting under the tent in their button-downs, the Big Healey guys that consider Sprites red-headed step children and want you to go park 'over there with the Midgets'. No, this was different, lots of new friends made and not a single cross word or hurt feeling that I observed.

Excellent!!! I've already sent my .02 to Jim suggesting that we MUST NOT allow the success of the event to fade, but instead MUST leverage it into a permanent association of like minded folks.
