Oil/Temp Gauge Rebuild

Chuck, Nisongners does a bueatiful repair job on them-FWIW---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Nisongers just did a unit for me. It took 4 weeks, but it was worth the wait.

I have been given three US firms that do dual gauge rebuilds. I have spoken with with APT and they said $165 and a turn around time of a month. I have heard good and bad about all three at one time or the other. It seems that the west coast people prefer MoMa's and the east coast people prefer Nisonger.

Here are the contacts.

APT Instruments International Inc

Nisonger Instrument Sales and Service
570 Mamaroneck Avenue
Mamaroneck, New York 10543

Thanks. I also asked Healey Surgeons (on east coast) where I have bought some parts and they recommend West Valley Electronics in Resedo, CA. I called West Valley and they quoted $125 w/ 2 week turnaround for a complete rebuild (without any cosmetic work). I may try them.

I used West Valley for a speedo and they were fast and accurate. You wont go wrong with either as both have good reputations with the forum people here.

I actually went with Mo Ma Manufacturing in Albuquerque. Address is actually 1321Second Street NW. I sent the gauge I bought on ebay for $30. It was missing a needle and glass. Got it back yesterday. Looks like new. Took 10 days and $125. I will put it in tonight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
