oil seal on timing cover

my oil seal is leaking on timing cover, do i need to pull the engine, or can it be done by taking out the radiator. is it a tough job. thanks
 
it can be done in the car, you will need to jack up the engine in order for the crank pulley to clear the rack, or remove the rack. not to bad of a job, since your going there a new chain and sprockets and tensioner would probaly be a good idea.

Often not only is the seal bad, but the pulley is galled or scored from the seal. If your pulley surface looks bad, you can repair it by installing a spedisleeve or redisleeve over the bad spot.
