What would you guys say is optimal oil pressure range for a 1500?

What would you say is the "PULL OFF THE ROAD YOU MORON!" point? (aka minium acceptable oil pressure)

Thanks...

Don't think so... Just recently installed a pressure guage and want to know what I am reading.

Had a heart attack moment when my pressure dropped to ZERO yesterday, but discovered it was a pinch in the cheapo nylon line. I will be picking up a copper line ASAP.

Morris, I've had a few of those moments myself. Sometimes followed by a loud "BANG" and a lot of smoke!
Glad it was just an indication glitch.
Jeff

As well Jeff. Happy Birthday, glad you made it to 32.

LOL, some how I knew you were no spring chicken.

Heard that. Was about 110 degrees at the track last nite. So glad I have a friend with an A/C in his big moter home.

Other wise I am sure I would have passed out. And that is fact, they said I was white and pasty looking when I went in and layed on the floor with the dogs.

It's all a function of age I think.

Slow an' easy Jack, slow an' easy /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif !!! Got in the wifes car yesterday and the air temp inside was 122* (literally like getting into the oven /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif !)!! Drove 3-5 miles til it dropped to 72*. Wife insisted the AC wasn't working right (brand new car!) so took it in to have it checked...she wouldn't believe me that it was JUST PLAIN HOT OUT! They proved to her that it was pumping 42*!!

PS Have a happy Jeff (Nothing gets easier, just mellower!!) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
