Oil pressure problems.

Been working on my healey for 33 years and never had a problem like this. drained the oil sump and refilled. Had problem removing the spin on filler so remoed the adapter and removed the filter. Noticed some blue permatx residue on the adapter portion that was removed and cleaned it off and attched the new filter. A small amount or residue was on the edge of the adapter portion attached to the block, removed it. The regular gasket material was still in place so I reattached the adapter. stared the engine had no oil pressure, prior to oil change carried 40lbs at idle and 55lbs when cruiseing. Removed the filter and changed it. Ran engine and new filter was full of oil so reattached it. Pulled rocker cover and had no oil coming from the rocker shaft. Removed oil pipe from the rocker arm an had a small string of blue gasket material in the pipe which I cleaned out. Removed the pipe and cleaned. Started the engine and no oil from oil gang. Removed the oil feed to distributor and no oil when engine started. Have removed the oil gang plug behind the distributor but haven't had to quit before I could start the engine.
I am cringing thinking I may have blocked the oil gang.
Anyone have any encouraging words and and easy solution to my problem.

 Sorry no encouraging words. If you've maintained your Healey for 33 years, you must have used the "blue permatex". Oil passages are really small and I'm afraid you might have damaged the motor. You can try draining the oil and replacing it with kerosene or naptha. Start the car and allow to warmup, then turnoff the motor and drain the sump. Allow the sump to drain overnight to get all the kerosene/naptha out of the motor. Look for gooey residue. It might just work. Refill motor with oil and check pressure.

You didn't say how much time passed between the initial draining and refilling but perhaps the oil pump lost its prime.
Drop pan and remove and pack pump with vaseline, also try backfeeding oil into pump via the OP outlet, roll it over on the starter for a while with coil leads detached and see if anything comes of this.

I witnessed soemthing like this several years ago(not my car-lol), and the guy reinstalled the spin-on oil filter head incorrectly when he put it back on.
Maybe this is the case?
