The Jaeger Oil Pressure Gauge on my 4A stuck on 70#’s. Put a new line in from the pipe to gauge, looked ok at start up and then stuck again.
Squirt of carb cleaner? Take apart? BFH?

check the light bulb, on my TR6 oil pressure gauge if I push the bulb in to far it interferes with the needle and wont read past 25 psi

Tap the gauge. That's standard drill for any mechanical gauge. Just flick it a few times with your finger and it will likely unstick itself.

Aloha Richard,

If the other suggestions don't produce satisfactory results, you might have some internal issues. The bourdon tube gauge has several moving parts to make the needle move. They may need to be lubricated.

Thanks for the ideas and photo Dave. Good to see what’s in there as I suspect it will need to come apart. Went for a great drive today and saw a tiny bit of movement so I am hoping it will free itself.
