Oil Filter Midget

Does anyone know of a way to use a standard american style filter on a rubber bumper midget 1500? I've been ordering them from Moss thus far,but it would be a heck of a lot easier to go down to the local auto parts place to get. All I think you'd need is an adapter. The Fram book lists a filter for cars that have been "converted" but they don't list a conversian kit.

Napa had a filter available for my 77 Midget 1500. Have you tried them?

Puralator PL10241. No adaptor needed. In fact, I took the angle positioner off. Oil filter spins right on. I also used a Fram once, however, the Fram did not have the Anti drain back feature the Puralator has.
