It's about time for me to change my oil.
I'm told it's important to make sure the filter has an anti back flow.
I am currently using the K&N HP-2009.
I've heard another recommended filter is by Napa.
What is the Napa model number?
Opinions on K&N vs. Napa?

I'll be using Castrol 20-50.
7 quarts I believe is the right number.

Hi Roger,
K&N & NAPA Gold are both good filters. I believe the NAPA #1516. A good anti back flow valve is important to prevent dry starts. This is reportedly one of the big problems with the FRAM 3600. I personally like the large nut on the K&N which always makes removal painless.

Also compare the thickness of the baseplate on either the K&N or NAPA to the Fram--the latter's is visibly thinner.
