Nice car,

Exhaust and toggle switches are not original.

He,he,he, you guys...says something about the times when he wants to sell it on ebay instead of a proper auction!!!
I think I might want to watch that one and see what happens with it! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I like how when you open the bonnett, half of what's exposed is passenger compartment.
The headlight instantly bothered me.. Other than that that thing is beautiful! (and of course the headlight is just a stupid thing)
Definatly one to watch.

I can't quite understand selling a high-value item on eBay (meaning much more than about $20k). If it's really worth that much, wouldn't one of the larger auction houses make more sense? Sure there's a bit more in the way of fees, but it would actually be put in front of the folks with the available cash. I always figured eBay for more of a bargain-type place.

My thought too Drew!! After all that talk in the write-up about the pedigree, the old girl deserved better treatment than an ebay sale!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

Also too, for such a gorgeous car the photos are less than superb... He should have found someone who knows what they're doing (photographically) to really showcase the car well... The photographers shadow in the one photo is really tacky

My only thought on him choosing ebay is, it seems that most of the major auctions center around American muscle and leave beautiful (but little known) gems like this one in the back row, not getting many bids.
I may be way off.. I dunno. I'm not really up on auctions.
Just a theory.

You know if I had 62K for a toy that would be a fun one. Shoot I don't even know what it is worth. But I do know it is cool.

Me too Jack! Had the pleasure of crawling all over one of these in Gatlinburg. Can't remember the owner, but the car I can't forget! The owner drives in Colorado Springs I believe.

Stuart.
