When I was poking around under the hood, found a small leak in my radiator, up at the top seamy sort of place. So he's pulling that to get repaired while we wait on the other parts that I haven't ordered yet because I'm getting VERY confused on what to buy.

One thing leads to another, doesn't it? I need a new radiator cap (which I knew before dahubby took the radiator up town to the shop) Radiator man didn't like the way the core 'looked.' Whatever that means.

Guess I'm taking the Solara to the John Mellencamp/John Fogerty concert tonight. ~sniff~

OK - If you're a Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan fan, you'll enjoy the show. Willie spoke his songs more than he sang them, but come to think of it, that's pretty much always been his style.

Dylan is experimenting with jazz and blues - pretty energetic concert actually.

But for me, it was great to hear their opening act - The Green Cards. Great musicians - if you like Union Station, I think you'll like them. And they're Brits and an Aussie to boot! I'll be getting at least one of their CD's soon.

And Mellencamp and Fogerty kicked butt tonight! Just walked in. I sang and danced my old booty off for 3 hours. Phenomenal show!!!

Thanks for the heads up on Dylan/Nelson. Try to catch Fogerty/Mellencamp if they come your way!

YAY! Radiator's fixed. Shop owner just called. Cleaned it out really good, said the core looked fine to him (was a different guy that said it looked bad) Had it under pressure for an hour now and there's no leak! He's going to paint it up for me and it will be ready at 4:30. I'll be driving again tomorrow! WOOHOO! (I risk jinxing myself by saying this, but these 2 problems were easy! Maybe I should leave the speedo alone!)
