This morning my wife reads a classified ad to me.
Hey honey, look, a '78 Midget for sale $200.
While I'm thinking about all the work it's going to need. She is already on the phone with the owner.

Well, I pick it up this afternoon. Sounds like it had a total restore, but then it was rolled.

Wish me luck.

I know some guy's wives who would be doing the total opposite to that! One guy I talked to at a show a couple of years ago (British repair garage owner), told me he didn't realize how many cars he had accumulated until he did an actual count one day, and while I was talking to him there was a list of cars for sale right next to me on the window of his car!

We don't count cars around here! &, Jerri bought me a little round wheel arch Midget a few years ago - she did good.....today, she called me on my cell phone to tell me about an MG she had found in the classifieds....think I'll keep her around!
