Well, the unthinkable happened. I pulled out onto the main road and saw a small fox brown dog on the shoulder in a bad turn. I knew she was going to get hit and before I knew it, the unthinkable happened......I stopped and took her home. 
"Foxy", the newest memeber of the family, is currently curled up in my wife's lap with her head tucked under my wife's arm. She is VERY happy and seems to be "home". No collar, doesn't seem neglected, but would have been killed had I left her there. I put out a sign, but probably should go take it down as I don't think my wife will allow a neglegent owner to put her at risk again. Well, he we go again, another 10 years and 10K.....
