It's not like I don't already have enough projects...

That's a pretty sweet looking RWA Midget.

"74 MG Midget with new top (needs to be installed) and new battery. Currently has original SU carbs and runs OK. Needs floorboards and misc other work. $999/OBO"

Sounds rusty on the inside...

(Must resist urge to make offer)

I emailed them, (am I crazy?) and here is the response to the standard questions:

"The only rust is the floorboards. The carb needs to be rebuilt, otherwise engine (1275 engine), tran, and clutch are all good. Oil leaks a little - it's British  but no burning."

Dang! If the floorboards are the only problem, that seems like a real good deal.

Looks like a deal from this angle.

Looks good, when I blow up the picture, the bottom rear quarters and the rockers look a bit shady. Also the door is sagging a bit and that could be another sign. Definately worth a look!

I asked for and was promised more pictures.
I want to see more before I'll go out and look at it.
If I go I will be driving it back home, and parking is already getting tight around my house. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Looks like buying that small welder is getting to be a better idea all the time. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
