...for my new Bugeye! I'm very excited. To say the least. Thanks again to Grantura_MKI for the excellent inspection. I'm getting the funding sent off today, and then I need to figure out how to get it from there (Escondido, CA) to Utah. Seller may even be able to deliver, so I'm looking at that as well.

A fair price for a decent car--I'm very happy! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

that is definitely a good start. almost makes me want a bugeye someday. but if that were the case I will have to buy one already restored, I havea feeling my Midget project is going to take it out of me.

Congrats!

Now, you've got to change your signature! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is not fair, his runs.

What a very nice looking car....

Am I right in thinking that the check was bigger than the car??? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

I hope you live where there are some nice twisty mountain roads to enjoy and not the salt flats....

I got it for a fair price, checked against a couple of price guides (NADA and Collector Car Market Review). This is definitely a rougher car than it looks in the picture, but should not take too much to get it safe for summer driving--mostly shock work and probably a new wiring harness. Not the steal of the century--but a fair price for a good car. I feel good about that.

The seller runs some sort of transport company, and has tentatively offered to deliver the car for me--still working on a quote for that. I'll either go that route, or borrow truck and trailer and go down and get it myself. Either way it will be a couple of weeks, so I'll have to try to be patient!

Living in the mountains of northern Utah, I've got great twisty roads right here. Real motivation to get the car sorted quickly so I can get to it!

I put Maggie in a UHaul with furiture from my mothers house(San Marino,Calif) and hauled her to Casper Wy.-when to a freight dock and backed her out-down the ramp and we were home!!! I didn't tell uhaul though.....she is about the same size & it wasn't much for a one way trip!!

That's good then- I didn't mean to imply that you over-paid or anything like that... just an attempt to be amusing about a "Little" Healey and your title for the thread....

It looks nice and I hope you'll enjoy it.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif
