In a few days that is... Where is Manyberries? A very tiny hamlet in the southeast corner of Alberta, close to the Montana border... Not much lives there, look it up, you might almost call it a one horse town

The Southern Ranchmen's Hotel & Saloon is probably the only business in town, yes that's an old VW Dasher, my 2011 photo from the first and only time I went there, this time I plan to stay at the old hotel, no guarantees of seeing an old VW Dasher this time though...

It's at the end of the Red Coat Trail, a stretch of highway home to very few people many ghost towns and lots of old decay, lots of interesting photography... :thumbsup: The biggest town along the highway has a population of 500 people...

Does it say: "You are entering Manyberries" on BOTH sides of the sign?
 
LOL There are lots of small towns on the Canadian prairies with very low population, well under 400 people... Definitely in the case of Manyberries, a rather fun name, referring to the two main types of berries that grow in the area (just got that one from a book)

I had a friend write a blog post about exploring and taking photos in an area a little south of Manyberries, he described it as one of the loneliest places he had ever been to, nothing but prairie, some hills, and pretty much zero population... He did find one abandoned house to photograph...

I thought I was the only one to have had a Dasher, mine was a 74. I may be crazy but I really liked that car.
