Jenny and I are headed out in an hour or so down to Lost Wages (Las Vegas for you non-yanks in the crowd) for a few days for our annual anniversary trip (just passed 5 years married). Funny thing, we don't gamble--okay, maybe $20 or so trying to win the cars at the slot machines--but Las Vegas is always fun for a bit of relaxing people-watching and some good shows and it's close to here.

We'll be back on Wednesday night. Y'all make some progress while I'm gone. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Sounds good to me.

Lost Wages? I thought that was the city where all LBC enthusiasts lived.

Have fun, though...!

Nah! I think you are thinking of Lost Senses (just down the road from Lost Patience)!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Regardless, enjoy your time at play Drew!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

People-watching is another hobby of mine. LV is a good place to do it too! When I was there, I flew in on Allegiant Air since it's dirt cheap. I was only in LV long enough to rent my car and head to the Hoover Dam /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Back and decompressing from the trip. Good vacation, had much fun, even got a little car watching in. Imperial Palace has an interesting (and free with a coupon) car gallery/sales floor. Nice stuff, Jags, Aston Martin, Bentleys, Rolles Royce for the British, plus lots of American, Italian, German, French, etc. Worth a walk through. And yes, if you win the millions at the casinos, all the cars are for sale.

My wife, unbidden, commented that there needed to be some little British cars there -- she thinks they are more interesting to look at than the big high-dollar ones. A good women! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Whoo weee. She's a keeper Drew, lol.
