Off to camp

So, the saga continues - had a call from the camp Director (owner of the business) and in his absence a younger employee, (think Larry, Daryl & Daryl) went at it and managed to ripple pretty much every panel. The shell is fine and the front fenders but hood, doors, trunk lids (2) all stripped, all rippled. Went out to view the damage tonight - it's not pretty. The good news is the shell is very solid and the metal is good but there's going to be a whole lot more smoothing than previously anticipated. sigh. Be careful letting your children out of sight. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Of course the owner was beside himself but at this point there's not much we can do but move forward.

Sure, move forward with new doors, bonnet, and boot lids. I would expect the business owner to accept full responsibility for the damage.

Good used doors, I have - possibly a good trunk lid...not sure about hood though.

I agree with Jeff, don't pay to have them smoothed; make him replace them - either new or used!
