Off the shelf oil filter

Does anyone know of an oilfilter for a Spitfire 1500 that I can pick up at the local auto supply. When I rebuilt my motor I ordered one from Spitbits. It was a Fram ph2869. I saved the box thinking I could just pick the next one up locally. Wrong!
At my third store yesterday, the guy at Car Quest cross referenced it to a Wix number that had the wrong thread.
The filter I took off was a Crossland 595 with the notation"for future replacement leave threaded adapter in engine and use filter 670". So I am thinking I have the 5/8 adapter.

Any help would be appreciated.

All the ones that I see at the Autozone/Advance Auto websites mention they work when converted to 3/4" adapter and there are plenty to choose from. I'd consider getting a 3/4" adapter.

I found another reference to the 5/8" to 3/4" adapter which indicates that the Wix 51312 oil filter comes with that adapter. You can find that oil filter at RockAuto or even Amazon (where ever you can find the cheapest shipping).

Wix oil filter with adapter

I seem to remember buying oil filters for my wife's Spitfire many years ago which came with the adapter as well. It was probably more common then to include it than now.
