OK here's my most current problem and I'm just sure someone here can help...

My riding lawn mower with a B&S 18 hp twin is blowing is steady mist of fuel out the top of the carb when it's running and this just doesn't seem right. It's enough to start puddling in the bottom of the aircleaner housing. Seems dangerous to Carla and me. It runs strong with the air cleaner off but seems very low-powered with the filter on. Any guesses??? We REALLY need to mow our lawns :frown:

ahhhh.... clogged filter? Choke off?

Exhaust ("muffler") plugged partially with rust?

Yeah, clogged muffler would be good to check.

I'd also look at valve adjustment (if it has a lot of hours on it). A "tight" valve can do that.
