How in the heck do you pronounce Oetiker?
My guess is O-Tick-er

Looks Dutch - likely Oo -tick -er

in Germany...

But was she imported from the home office or a local hire?

I've known people who couldn't properly pronounce the name of the American company they worked for, let a lone some ferrin one.

Swiss accents can vary considerably from German, which of course also vary from place to place. But this is how we were taught to say it in school.

I once had a lady call me from Toyota to ask me about my "Sky-on" XB. Hmmmm.. wonder if she was farmed out? Guess I'd throw her for a loop asking her about Oetiker clamps for the CV boots on my Scion huh?
