I agree with Steve - it's impressive. I want one for fishing. The pine would match the walls of our camp up north.

Just think - a Ferrari that doesn't rust!

I think this is the car done by an Italian artist - if so, he also did one or two others.

Is it on the level? I could swear I see a patch of road and grass outside the driver's window on the middle picture. It would be kinda simple to apply a texture to a picture. Still neat either way.

It is possible, I remember way back in my teen years that Hot Rod Magazine running a story on a car that he built out of wood. It was sharp, but not this sharp.

Did anyone see the show on cable about the guy who built up a Camaro (I think) with what I believe was a Subaru engine, connected to a stern drive? Does 40 knots and pulls skiers. Plans are to market the thing - shades of 007!

With the front snout of a Camaro, you'd think it would submerge itself at enough speed to tow skiiers!

If you check the second picture, there are some ropes on the floor on the passenger side, I guess to moore it somwhere there in Venice...I think it was really on the water!

I will have to check it out at home. I work in a computer room (read museum) and the monitors are so burned out anything in shadow is lost.

There is a little bit of grass outside the drivers window in the second picture. But the boat is moored so it is probably just over in a planter or something.

Cheers,

Too cool! I knew it was possible, but I also knew how easy it would be to fake. Much easier than the 9mo he spent really doing it.
