Auction seems to be for a blue GT6 with tan interior, but some photos show it with a red GT6 with black interior.

The interiors of both the red & tan interior cars are shown in display photos as if the same car.

Also, the commission (VIN) number listed doesn't seem to jibe with the GT6 Mk3 series.

What state is that tag from?

I think the greenish cast of fluorescent light is making the blue one look green-ish in that one photo.

Maryland. It's not too awful far from me, if you want me to check it out. I'm not a GT6 guy, though. All I know is TR3s.

Thanks, I just was wondering if it matched w/the seller's stated location. It is just peculiar.

It looks like a maryland plate. maybe the car was red, then painted and the inside of the hatch is still red?

That isn't a 1970. And, I also think it's the lighting.

Seller is very confused, maybe on drugs. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thirsty.gif

Let's see what the end price is . . .

Question & Answer Answered On

Q: Which car a you selling, there appear to be 3 different GT6's in your pictures? Nov-12-07
A: I am sorry for the confusion. While there are two distinct cars in the attached photos theonly car being sold is the blue GT6. I am sorry, but when I created the item I mistakingly put in a picture of another car that has already sold-a red one. EBay doesn't let you remove or change anything about your items once posted-You can only add to them. Therefore, I cannot remove the picture and end the confusion. To further complicate matters, I am a friend of the seller and since I have ebay access and a paypal account I put the sale on here for him. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif If you want to talk to him directly, his name is David and his number is 443-415-3300. Thanks

Uh-huh. Always love an ad with "a story". Also gotta love the "selling for a friend" ads.

Seems alot of envy here ;-)(Like THATS A NICE CAR i wish it was mine)..just my personal impression here. When theirs nothing good about the car in ALL the post this is what i assume.Kind like the Triumph verses MG posts.
Oh!British Leyland did have the habit of being late(by 1 year)upon registering the manufacture date....My car a 1500 Spitfire was manufactured in Nov 1979 for the 1980 model year so its a 19791/2....
