well time to Vent,
got the transmission and engine bolted together, no big deal. put the engine and transmission in back in the car, and yes I have pics but cant resize them since I now have windows 7, but thats another issue, my fork lift died so had to buy an engine hoist. now guess what the front bumper had to come off, well dropped the engine in and bolted the mounts up now all is good,(I think they built a car around the engine) and now the tedious stuff begins. Wired up the OD switches, seems at first the OD worked but then I checked and it worked in gear and in Neutral in first and reverses, so checked the wires, and got that straightened out, hooked up the alternator, now I have the ford Fiesta alternator and seem I have a small gauge brown wire that I cannot figure where it goes. Next, I purchased a now poly transmission cover, and of course the holes dont line up so I have to enlarge them, and its seems to be about 1/8 to 1/4 inch too long. so got to tweek it, and now the big issue, since I now have an OD the angled spedo mechanism hits the transmission tunnel, After market parts suck, seems I am always making them work, so I am thinking I will get my propane torch, gradually heat up the area where the angle drive hits, soften it up and streach it to make that area bigger.
