od is installed but does not appear to be working. I have power at the yellow wire. Its a late od box 75 on. Also there is a light green and white that is also hot but does not have a known connection point.

any ideas on where to start

Two diff'rent eras. The yellow wire is (the power wire) from yester-year.

That LG-W one is ~foreign~ to me but may be the same 'trigger' one. You seem to have a hybrid in need of some sorting out.

Yeah that green/white wire is a head scratcher for sure. I've had the multimeter out I have 12v all the way down to the solenoid while in 4th. 1975 with a black lable od tranny.

Now if it's the solenoid can I change it without taking a bath in oil?

Fixed bad solenoid. Overdrive how did I live without you. I'm now looking forward to ripping out the engine in the 73 and swapping out transmissions.
