Just got the gearbox/OD back together after a complete overhaul and it is maintaining 350psi on the electric drill in 3rd with 15/40 engine oil. The OD shifts nicely but rather slowly, probably about 2-3 seconds accompanied by a momentary drop in pressure to ~200 psi.Jobs for tomorrow are rechecking the non return valve and spring and shimming the pressure spring to find the missing psi.
What is anyone's experience changing to the 'competition' aka Triumph accumulator? Does it make the OD too vicious or more fun? Not actually interested in racing the car, just curious.
