We had some snow a couple weeks ago. Was 21F this morning. Brrrrrrrr.

Going to Allentown PA tomorrow for a car club meeting. 76 miles, one way. I may have to put the top up on the MGB (I'm at work right now and it's sitting outside my building right now with the top down).

October snow is well withing the current, expected variance of weather conditions here in the northeast USA. Whether that will be true in 100 years is an entirely different question.

As for 100 years from now - they only thing I'm certain of is I'll be dead!

OK, OK, I agree....the fact that it's <span style="font-style: italic">unprecedented</span> does seem to point towards climate change. :laugh:

No more so than any other weather record that has been set since records have been kept. And it is colder than normal vice other way round. Maybe there's a reason the script has changed in the media to call "it" Climate Change vice the previous vernacular.

Regardless, be careful if you're out driving in this stuff.

"We" were crossing the Bering Strait during that last one! Clovis points an' all that jazz! Managed to wander down to South America and meander'd across most of the northern hemisphere.

Intrepid bastages, these "humans"! :wink:
 
I hate to break everyone's "unprecedented" North East snow fall bubble. On October 31, 1986 (a Friday) more than 10 inches of snow fell on Prince Edward Island, Canada and it was not considered out of the ordinary. How do you say do you, a sun loving California Surf Dude know this. Well, that was my first date with my now bride of 23 years (while living on said Island). It is all a matter of the jet stream lottery. Thanks for reminding me, I now have to go get her a gift :thankyousign: :nopity:
