TR6 obscure tr250 tr6 seat rail question

The seat slider mechanism, is there something that goes on the back top of the mechanism like a couple metal plates or something that the seat retainer catches (keep it from flipping forward) and also maybe makes the seatback rake a little less severe, I though I pulled a couple of plates off, but of course I cant find them, I don't see anything listed in my factory tr250 parts book, but there is a threaded bolt hole to fig something there, am I nuts? maybe I should rephrase that, am I misremembering about this part?

There is a plate at the end of the seat rail where the spring latch fits into to hold the seat in the down position.
See diagram below...

Thanks, now since you are answering my questions so well can you tell me where I put them so they wouldn't get lost during the restoration? Just kidding, I must heve either not had them or they were mistaken for scrap and discarded, or perhaps the most likely scenario, they will turn up after I spend a couple hours meticulously crafting near perfect replicas.
