Nuts and Bolts

Hi guys: When I restored my 53 MG TD I used a list that had all the nuts, bolts and screws used in the TD. It had the length, the width, TPI and the wether the screw was metric or english. It also indicated the position of the screw in the car.

I am starting to restore a 58 Austin Healey 100 6 and was wondering if anybody has prepared a similar list for it. Any suggestion?

Thank you very much.

Stuart

When I restored my MGA Coupe, I made such a list which now many people have used. For my 64 BJ8 I purchased the "service parts list" book for my car. It has just what you need including great drawings of each section of the car. I don't know the book number for the 100 6 cars. Have a good day!

You just need to buy a copy of the factory parts book. All the hardware is listed and the parts number code tells you what fastener to use. The code can be found in the Restoration Guide, but I have seen it in other publications too.

There is a list and it may be on the Healey 6 site. Someone posted a link to it a while ago. You might find it if you do a search.
